I liked what I read, so I subscribed. I also ordered the book you recommended. I had never heard of her. I write Christian Suspense also, so I'm interested to read some of her books. Thank you. Abide! I spend time with God first thing every morning, praying, seeking, studying the Word, and keeping a journal. I've always avoided memorizing verses, but I know I should.

Hi Karen.

Thanks for subscribing! I enjoy her books. Hope you do, as well. :)

I am a teacher, too.

Memorizing verses is one of the more challenging areas for me. In fact, memorization is one of my goal areas for the year.

Have a wonderful day!

Good word Ms. Tammy. I don't select a word to focus on for the year, but that's just me. I pray yours is one that brings you even closer to God this year ma'am.

Tammy, you are the second person I know who has chosen "abide" for this year. Such a powerful, comforting concept. My word for 2024 is "now." Hope you have a wonderful year!

Hi Lois. That's amazing! Another woman told me her word is "abide", as well. "Now" speaks to me in my current season. I find myself wondering about my purpose since my youngest graduated. I know He has plans for right now. I hope you have a wonderful year, too! <3

I love your writing. Abide is a lovely word for 2024. I chose “reframe”. This year, and going forward, I will look at the unexpected events through the lens of God’s word. Many scriptures come to mind for reframing. Romans8:28, Philippians 4, Jeremiah 29-11.

Hi, Karen. Thank you for your kind words. I love the particular scriptures you've chosen and appreciate the idea of reframing situations and circumstances we might not otherwise appreciate.
