What Would Help, Encourage, and Support You the Most in 2025?

And a protagonist needs your input!

Life moves from one January to the next with the rapidity of a blizzard racing across the prairie landscape. Suddenly, we’ve stepped into a New Year and everything it entails. Scorching fires, political mayhem, and a world steeped in uncertainty. Maybe you, too, shake your head in surprise and concern.

Yet Psalm 125:2 (NIV) reassures, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.” Verses like this one console my anxious spirit and allay my fears. Our God knows our wants, weariness, and weakness. In His incredible mercy, He gifted us with a Savior who exists beyond limits and settles our souls as we abide in Him.

I’ve been diving deep into the mind, habits, and quirks of my protagonist—Abigail Watson. Poor Abby is a bleeding heart who loves maintaining control. Part of her regimented schedule? Prepping a week’s worth of mason jar overnight oats every Saturday.
