Working through the issue of suffering even this morning. Out of work now for a year and pivoting from market place to chaplain hospital ministry at an age when most retire. An article well written full of solid Truth with Scriptural helps. Thank you - very timely for not just me but many I am sure. Blessings.
I like characters who show forbearance. Probably the greatest example of this trait is Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. Even when he was spat upon by Bob Ewell, Atticus simply wiped his face with his handkerchief.
As I suffer through various tests and trials, I remind myself that this is but a "momentary affliction" and my Hope, my Savior is coming soon to user me into eternity with Him. Oh, what a glorious day. That reminder doesn't make my situation better, but it does make it more bearable.

I’m sorry your dealing with such a difficult situation. May God open a new door for you into a place of hope and provision. Peace and grace, Tammy

Hi Karen. Atticus Finch is such an amazing character and that scene—so powerful! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on your inclusion in the Bible study anthology, Tammy.
